Here are five of our favorite places within walking distance of our Main Street Hendersonville office.

Main Street Hendersonville is a place where people walk, where people work, and where people share their lives with each other. At Allen Tate/Beverly-Hanks, we’re proud to have an office located at the heart of this vibrant and easily traversable downtown. Each day, we treasure our opportunity to help people find homes in this amazing mountain town—as well as our ability to take advantage of everything downtown has to offer!

From coffee shops and eateries to locally-sourced shopping, craft breweries, and an abundance of art, Downtown Hendersonville has a multitude of things to offer residents and visitors alike. It’s almost impossible to decide what’s best about downtown. However, here are five of our favorite places within walking distance of our Main Street Hendersonville office.

Three Chopt Sandwich Shoppe

Apple Raisin Annie at Three Chopt Sandwich Shoppe

Treat yourself to lunch at Three Chopt Sandwich Shoppe. This local eatery offers quick bites and comfort foods just steps from Main Street in Downtown Hendersonville. Stop in to choose from their selection of sandwiches, salads, soups, and desserts. We think you’ll love the Apple Raisin Annie sandwich, a favorite of one of the owners’ mothers. It’s white meat chicken salad with granny smith apples and golden raisins on your choice of bread with honey mustard. Served with tea, chips, a pickle, and popcorn.

Hendersonville: 22-ounce To-Go or Pint on Draft at Guidon Brewing Company

Guidon Brewing (pronounced gi-don) is a veteran-, American-, German-, and family-owned company dedicated to the art of brewing high quality, carefully crafted beer. Their combined knowledge of fine quality foods and beverages drives their passion to provide customers with a unique and high quality experience. That experience is further enhanced by the Gemutlichkeit atmosphere of the brewery, one that is welcoming, cheerful, and relaxed. Now, that’s a language we can all understand. Hendersonville is also home to many attractions for kids of all ages. We love visiting Laura E. Corn Mini-Golf Course at Boyd Park, where each hole is themed for attractions around WNC! Or from our office, walk to the nearby Appalachian Pinball Museum for even more family fun. Formerly a ballroom and a theater, the picturesque building is now home to dozens upon dozens of rare and vintage pinball machines. For a flat fee, you can spend all day trying their collection of both vintage and contemporary pinball machines, as well as video games.

Appalachian Pinball Museum remains closed for now due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Local art galleries

Check out the many local artists in our area. Here are a dozen local art galleries that showcase the best artists in Downtown Hendersonville.

Technically not just one “place,” we love the abundance of local art galleries within steps of our door. As you walk up and down Main Street’s tree-lined sidewalks, you’ll spot at least a dozen galleries that have created exciting downtown destinations for artists and art lovers alike. Visit active studios and see artists in action. Take classes and workshops to improve your own skills. In addition, Arts Council of Hendersonville County offers a free art and architecture walking tour of Hendersonville.
