Tyson Furniture
In May 1946, Alfred “Bub” and Betty Tyson opened a small furniture retail store at 109 Broadway in Black Mountain. Today, Tyson Furniture still occupies that same building, but it has grown into one of the largest and most trusted furniture stores in the Carolinas.
