Allen Tate Companies, the Carolinas’ leading real estate company, has named Virginia Henrie as branch leader of the company’s Shelby office at 305 East Warren Street in Shelby, N.C.
In her new role, Henrie will oversee branch operations and lead and grow a team of more than 18 Allen Tate Realtors® and staff.
Henrie is a career professional with more than 22 years of residential real estate experience. In 2015, she joined Allen Tate Companies as a member of the Professional Development team, where she led training for agents in the Charlotte and Upstate regions. In 2018, she was named sales manager for the company’s Greenville-Woodruff Road and Greer offices and was named branch leader for Greer in 2020. She returned to residential brokerage in 2021 and is currently a Realtor for Allen Tate/Beverly-Hanks Realtors in Hendersonville and Saluda, N.C.
Prior to her real estate career, she taught science, math and social studies to middle school students and owned a boutique. She holds a bachelor of science degree in biology from the Pennsylvania State University and a secondary teaching certification from the University of Nevada – Las Vegas.
She has previously served on the Historic Architectural Review Board in Bloomsburg, Pa. and as a member of the board of directors for Downtown Bloomsburg, Inc. and the Bloomsburg Hospital.

Henrie and her husband, Guy, make their home in Tryon, N.C. They have two daughters and one granddaughter. She enjoys road biking, hiking, travel, restoring old homes, reading and spending time with her two dogs.
