Allen Tate Mortgage, a division of the Allen Tate Family of Companies, has named Tiffany Willingham as director of compliance.
In her new role, Willingham will lead and manage all internal and external compliance matters and communications, including compliance policies, procedures, training, reporting, monitoring and regulatory updates.
Willingham brings more than 20 years of experience in mortgage lending operations and regulatory compliance. She most recently worked as quality control supervisor for a mortgage servicing corporation and has previously held positions as processor, junior underwriter, closer and closing/processing manager.
She is a graduate of Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, N.C. where she majored in criminal justice. She is founder and manager of Kall-A-Mom, Inc., a non-profit foundation that assists single mothers, and she contributes parenting tips to a weekly newsletter, At Home with Nikki.
“Tiffany has an excellent understanding of all facets of the mortgage business, building her career in loan origination and processing. For the past five years, she has focused on the compliance, regulatory and quality control aspect of the business and has successfully built two quality control programs. She is the right person to help manage the growth of Allen Tate Mortgage in today’s changing regulatory environment,” said Chris Cope, president, Allen Tate Mortgage.
A native of Washington, D.C., Willingham and her husband Lewis make their home in Concord, N.C. with their five children. She enjoys being a busy cheer and basketball mom, traveling, and spending time with close friends.
