Allen Tate Company, the Carolinas’ leading real estate company, has named Kathy Uhorchak as branch leader of the company’s new Apex office.

The office is temporarily located at 1750 NW Maynard Road, Suite 100-101, in Cary and will move to a new location at 1421 Kelly Road in Apex this summer.

In her new role, Uhorchak will oversee branch operations, management and training of more than 25 Allen Tate agents and staff.

Uhorchak has nine years of experience as a Realtor®, including six years with Allen Tate. Prior to her real estate career, she managed telecommunications projects and worked as a real estate paralegal.

She holds a certificate in paralegal studies from the American Institute for Paralegal Studies, and an associate degree in legal studies from Craven Community College.

Uhorchak is a graduate of the Triangle Leadership Academy of the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors and holds National Association of Realtors Green designation.

“Kathy is an accomplished Realtor and leader and we’re excited to welcome her as branch leader in our newest office in Apex,” said Phyllis Brookshire, president, Allen Tate Realtors. “We’re confident our agents and clients will benefit from her experience and market knowledge.”

Uhorchak and her husband, Steve, have one son and make their home in Cary. She enjoys golf, reading, travel, spending time at the beach and cheering on the Carolina Panthers and Carolina Hurricanes.
