Sustainable growth, new construction fuels desirable residential community

Allen Tate Company, the Carolinas’ leading real estate company, announces the opening of its new office in Apex, North Carolina.

The new office will be located in the Publix Pointe retail center at the intersection of Kelly and Olive Chapel Roads, parallel to N.C. 540 in west Apex. The retail center is anchored by Publix supermarket. The Allen Tate office is expected to open in late summer 2017.

“The Apex market is experiencing sustainable growth at a rate of five people per day. It’s a wonderful residential community, with easy access to I-64, U.S. 1, N.C. 540 and the Apex Peakway. Many homes are affordably priced and thousands of lots have been approved for new construction,” said Phyllis Brookshire, president, Allen Tate Realtors. “It’s the perfect market for Allen Tate expansion in the Triangle region.”

The new, 2,800-square-foot office will feature traditional office space as well as a “landing pad” design for those agents who prefer to work on-the-go. Kathy Uhorchak will serve as branch leader for the Apex office.

“In recent years, Apex has received numerous accolades, including the No. 1 Best Place to Live in the U.S. by Time/Money Magazine in August 2015,” said Brookshire. “It’s just a great place to be, and we’re excited to be here.”

More than 25 Allen Tate Realtors are currently serving Apex-area clients from a temporary location at Towerview Office Suites, 1750 NW Maynard Road in Cary.
