Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, the nation’s largest independently owned and operated real estate brokerage, today announced its expansion into Alabama through a partnership with the state’s largest real estate brokerage, operating under two established brands, ARC Realty and Capstone Realty. The move marks a significant milestone in Howard Hanna’s continued national growth, welcoming 875 agents across 12 offices in Birmingham, Montgomery and Huntsville. The combined organization achieved $2.8 billion in sales volume across approximately 6,000 transactions in 2025.
As consolidation continues to reshape the real estate industry, Howard Hanna is building its national presence by bringing together successful, locally led brokerages that share its commitment to relationships, independent leadership and long-term growth. The partnership brings Alabama’s largest real estate brokerage, operating under the ARC Realty and Capstone Realty brands, into Howard Hanna’s national network.
