Allen Tate Realtors® in the Triangle recently raised more than $23,000 to benefit public education, as part of the company’s 22th Annual FUNday event.
Every year, Allen Tate agents, employees and guests gather to raise money for local public education organizations. This year, five regional FUNday events took place through the company’s footprint in North and South Carolina. More than $2.21 million has been raised in the past 21 years.
The Halloween-themed Triangle region event “The Spirit of Giving II” was held October 24 at The Garden on Millbrook in Raleigh with nearly 200 attendees.
The evening’s festivities included a costume contest, centerpiece decorating contest, and silent and live auctions.
“It was a night of Spooktacular Fun as agents and employees from Allen Tate’s Triangle region came together to raise money for the children in our area,” said Jeanine Lind, FUNday Triangle event chairperson. “My co-chair Teri Fountain and I appreciate the Triangle leadership team and everyone who worked to make the night a success.”
Local education organizations that will benefit from Allen Tate FUNday dollars include the Boys and Girls Club of Durham and Orange County, Durham Communities in Schools, The Poe Center for Health Education, Wake County Communities in Schools and WakeEd Partnership.
FUNday is made possible through the support of national, regional and local sponsors.
Company-wide sponsors included 2-10 Homebuyers Warranty, Adwerx, Canon Solutions, Moxiworks, Progressive Insurance, Ribbon, Telware, Realtor.com and Quantum Digital.
Monster-level sponsors included Capital City Law, Champagne Photography and Staging, Jackson Law, South Law and Taylor Morrison.
