Allen Tate Realtors® in the Triad recently raised $21,000 to benefit public education, as part of the company’s 18th Annual FUNday event.
For the past 18 years, Allen Tate agents, employees and guests have gathered each FUNday and “paid to play” to raise money for local public education organizations. This year, four separate regional FUNday events will take place through the company’s footprint in North and South Carolina. To date, FUNday has raised more than $1.52 million for public education across the Carolinas.
More than 220 people attended the Triad event, a Western hoedown held September 24 at The Barn at Summerfield Farms in Summerfield. The evening’s festivities included silent and live auctions, a 50/50 drawing, wine pull, reception and dancing.
“The venue was spectacular and everyone in attendance had an amazing time,” said Donna Ogletree, FUNday Triad event chairperson. “It’s wonderful to see our agents so generously support such a great cause.”
