Award honors personal and professional contributions to Realtor association

Allen Tate Realtors® President Phyllis Brookshire has been inducted into the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors® (RRAR) Hall of Fame.

The award was presented at an event held December 8 at the association office. The Hall of Fame award honors Realtor association members who have enhanced the profession through their personal and professional conduct and have contributed consistent, outstanding service to their Realtor associations.

“Phyllis is a consummate industry professional who is dedicated to excellence in all aspects of residential real estate. We commend the RRAR for recognizing Phyllis with this prestigious award,” said Pat Riley, Allen Tate Companies president and chief executive officer.

Brookshire joined Allen Tate in 2007 as regional vice president for the company’s Triangle region. In 2010, she was named president of Allen Tate Realtors and currently oversees 43 real estate offices across the company’s footprint in North and South Carolina.

Brookshire is a past president and director of the RRAR and has served as dean of the association’s Triangle Realtors Leadership Academy. In 2011, she was named Realtor of the Year by the association. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Realtor Foundation of Wake County.
