Carolinas’ real estate leader partners with Blair Properties
Allen Tate Companies, the Carolinas’ leading real estate company, is proud to partner with Blair Properties, LLC, on the opening of its North Wilkesboro, N.C. office.
The Allen Tate North Wilkesboro/Blair Properties office is located at 901 Main Street in downtown North Wilkesboro. The office serves clients in Wilkes, Yadkin, Forsyth, Watauga, Ashe and Allegheny counties and is home to 13 real estate agents and two support staff.
Built in 1892, the historic white brick building at the corner of 9th and Main Street. features 14-ft. ceilings, expansive windows and an open space design with glass cubicles. The structure has previously served as home to a drug store, men’s clothing store, and several banks.
Blair Properties was founded in 2014 by Amy Blair. She is the current owner of Blair Properties and will serve as broker in charge.
Blair earned her real estate license in 1996 and began her career with a local real estate firm in Wilkesboro, N.C. In 2001, she partnered with another Realtor to open their own business, which they operated together until 2014 when Blair founded Blair Properties.
Prior to her real estate career, Blair worked for the Wilkes County School District with a focus on services for troubled youth and their families. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in human services from Elon College.
An active community volunteer, Blair serves as vice chair for the Wilkes Economic Development Commission; council member for the Yadkin Valley Greenway, board member for Hospitality House, community advisory board for Truist Bank in Wilkesboro, and on the Historic Preservation Commission for Downtown Wilkesboro.
Blair and her husband Alex, a full-time Realtor with Blair Properties, make their home in Wilkesboro. They have two grown daughters, Sydney and Salem. They enjoy camping, boating, snow skiing, water skiing, traveling and spending time at their second home on Watauga Lake in Tennessee.
