For the second consecutive year, Allen Tate Companies President and CEO Pat Riley has been named to the North Carolina Power 100, a list of the state’s most influential business leaders published by Business North Carolina magazine.
“Our goal is to identify the people who lead North Carolina. In addition to corporate power, we looked for those making an impact on the broader community,” said Ben Kinney, publisher, Business North Carolina.
Riley, who joined Allen Tate in 1992, leads the state’s largest residential real estate firm, based on closed sales transactions. Allen Tate Companies currently operates 47 local real estate offices in North and South Carolina and last year, joined forces with Pittsburgh-based Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, to form the largest independent real estate firm in the country.
In addition to his role as “real estate royalty” as dubbed by the magazine, Riley is well-known as a community and civic leader, and currently serves on the board of Best NC, a statewide non-profit coalition of business leaders committed to improving North Carolina’s education system through policy and advocacy.
