Allen Tate | Howard Hanna, the Carolinas’ leading real estate company, has named Ethan Shown as branch leader for the company’s Winston-Salem and Kernersville, N.C. offices.
In this role, Shown will oversee branch operations and lead an established team of more than 45 successful agents, including business planning, mentoring and training, agent attraction and retention, and community outreach.
Shown is a seasoned business leader with a strong background in entrepreneurship. For more than a decade, he held roles in the automotive services industry, where he built a reputation for operational excellence and team development. His entrepreneurial ventures include owning a custom home stereo, theater and integration company, as well as actively managing an Airbnb property. Shown has been successful with real estate sales, where he brings the same dedication and strategic mindset that has defined his career.
Shown has served on the Winston-Salem Realtors Association’s Administrative and Young Professionals committees, and he is a volunteer for the Realtors Political Action Committee (RPAC). He has also volunteered his time with Special Olympics and hurricane relief efforts.

Shown and his wife Shannon, an Allen Tate Realtor, make their home in Kernersville. They have two children, Ava and Luke. Shown and his family enjoy music, sports, outdoor activities and vacationing at the Outer Banks and in the Bahamas.
