Allen Tate Companies, the Carolinas’ leading real estate company, has named Robert Smith as branch leader and broker-in-charge of the company’s Greensboro-Green Valley office at 717 Green Valley Road, Suite 300, in Greensboro.
In his new role, Smith will oversee branch operations, management and training of more than 130 Allen Tate agents and staff.
Smith joined Allen Tate in 2014 as branch leader for the company’s High Point office. Prior to joining Allen Tate, he was a successful Realtor® in the High Point area for 11 years. His professional designations include Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI) and Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR). He has also served as a diver in the U.S. Navy.
An active industry professional, Smith was recognized as 2014 Broker/Manager of the Year by the High Point Regional Association of Realtors® and is a past president of the organization. He currently serves as president of the Triad Multiple Listing Service and is a past treasurer.
He is an active member of the High Point Chamber of Commerce and volunteers with the United Way of Greater High Point.
