Howard Hanna Allen Tate Realtors in the Triad and High Country recently raised more than $21,000 to benefit public education, as part of the company’s Annual FUNday event.
For the past 28 years, Howard Hanna Allen Tate agents, employees and guests have gathered to raise money for local public education organizations.
This year, the company held four regional FUNday events across the Carolinas in October and November. To date, FUNday has raised more than $2.8 million for public education across the Carolinas.
More than 150 people attended “Decades of Fun,” a throwback event held October 16 at Club Fifth Season at the Sheraton Greensboro.
Festivities included silent and live auctions, wine pull, reverse raffle, dance contest, costume contest and 50/50 drawing,
“We stepped back in time and celebrated the decades with dancing, costumes and lots of energy. I want to extend a huge thank you to our agents, staff and sponsors for showing up, dressing up and giving back. Your generosity helps our public education partners in a big way,” said Lori Yager, branch leader, Howard Hanna Allen Tate Oak Ridge Commons, and Triad and High Country FUNday chairperson.
Local education organizations that will benefit from Howard Hanna Allen Tate FUNday dollars include Alamance County Beginning Teacher Induction Program, Asheboro City Schools, Davidson County Education Foundation, Guilford Education Alliance, Educator Warehouse/Forsyth Education Partnership, Junior Achievement of the Triad, Randolph County Schools, Rockingham County Schools and Watauga Education Foundation.
FUNday is made possible through the support of national, regional, and local sponsors.

Public education is part of the Howard Hanna Tate Cares giving initiative.
