Allen Tate Companies, the Carolinas’ leading real estate company and a Howard Hanna partner, has named Chip Edwards as branch leader and broker-in-charge for the company’s Raleigh-Glenwood office at 3201 Glenwood Avenue, Suite 300.
In this role, Edwards will support an established team of more than 50 successful agents in their drive for superior customer service and help nurture relationships with future Allen Tate agents.
Edwards earned his real estate license in 1997 and joined Allen Tate as a founding agent in the Triangle Region in 2007. Prior to his real estate career, he worked in the construction industry and is a licensed general contractor.
He holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics from North Carolina State University.

Edwards has lived in Raleigh for 35 years. He and his wife, Audrey, an assistant teacher, have three sons. He enjoys playing padel and pickleball, snow skiing, biking at Umstead State Park, visiting the NC Art Museum and JC Raulston Arboretum, coaching youth sports and cheering on the NC State Wolfpack.
