Are you a Millennial thinking about buying a home? If so, you’re in good company. Millennials are making a big impact in just about every market segment, including real estate.
Bobby Maloney, a senior mortgage consultant with Allen Tate Mortgage, will help lead the conversation with Millennials about real estate, financing and more as a featured panelist at the #NextGenCLT event on June 14 from 4-6 p.m. at The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, 4150 Yancey Road, Charlotte.
NextGenCLT is a quarterly print, digital and event series presented by the Charlotte Business Journal, UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business and The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery that includes exclusive interviews, how-to articles and content for and about Millennials in business, at play and in the community.
Maloney, along with featured panelists Court Creeden, founder/financial advisor with Parent Financial and Jabbar Jamison, vice president and private wealth advisor with BB&T, will discuss spending habits of millennials and provide insight into the housing and stock markets. Jeannette Kuda, vice president with LPL Financial, will serve as moderator.
“As a Millennial with a wife and young daughter, I understand and identify with the needs, desires and challenges of the Millennial audience when it comes to homeownership,” said Maloney. “Buying a home is a big step that is both exciting and overwhelming.”
Maloney has worked as a sales professional for more than a decade, originating more than $70 million of mortgage loans since 2014.
