Allen Tate President/CEO Pat Riley cautions against misleading marketing

When it comes to buying or selling a home, it takes a human touch.

But consumers today are targeted with numerous marketing messages that would suggest otherwise, says Allen Tate Companies President and CEO Pat Riley in the March edition of Carolinas Market Update.

And that creates confusion and ultimately, disappointment with results.

“There’s no magic formula when it comes to your most important purchase. No technology tool or marketing ploy can take the place of the human mind and skill set,” said Riley.

Buyers and sellers see the value of using a real estate agent, and recommend their agent to others.

“97 percent of our clients say they would refer their Allen Tate agent to a friend – or have done so,” said Riley. “That speaks volumes about the services our agents provide.”

Carolinas Market Update is targeted to consumers in the Charlotte, Triad, Research Triangle and Upstate S.C. regions. It is produced every other month by the Allen Tate Companies and features information, statistics, trends and predictions about the real estate market in North and South Carolina.
