Allen Tate Companies, the Carolinas’ leading real estate company, has named Alison Smith as branch leader and broker-in-charge of the company’s Charlotte-SouthPark office.

In this role, Smith will oversee branch operations and lead and grow a team of more than 75 Allen Tate Realtors® and staff. Since 2021, she has successfully led the Charlotte-Center City office as branch leader.

Smith is the recipient of multiple Allen Tate awards, including Purpose and Pride, the 2023 Rising Star Leadership Award, and No. 1 Office of the Year – Small Branch. She has served on the Allen Tate Leadership Advisory Council and has co-chaired the company’s annual FUNday fundraiser for public education in 2022 and 2023.

A seasoned professional, Smith has worked in the real estate industry for 15 years, including positions as director of agent development, managing broker and Realtor licensed in North and South Carolina. She is an accomplished luxury agent and holds an International Luxury Specialist Designation.

Prior to her real estate career, she worked as a licensed financial advisor in the securities industry and in management and marketing positions in technology, healthcare, and service industries. She attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and DeSales University in Pennsylvania with a focus in marketing and business.

She is an active supporter of Alzheimer’s and dementia research, as well as a contributor to the American Cancer Society and Tate Cares.

Smith has been a resident of the Charlotte area for more than 24 years. She makes her home in Uptown’s SouthEnd and in Lake Norman. She has two children, Cooper, who attends the University of South Carolina majoring in business and finance, and Abby, a high school senior. She enjoys music, art, yoga, golf, boating, exploring, and spending time with her miniature Bernedoodle. .
